The new center hours of operation will be 7:30 to 5:30 Monday through Friday. Children will be enrolled after completing the application process. Each family will have a Family Service Coordinator who works closely with the families and staff to assess and meet the child and family needs. The family oriented center strives to provide a warm and loving atmosphere that allows each child an opportunity to grow physically, educationally, socially and emotionally. In addition we provide a safe, stimulating environment featuring the Creative Curriculum for Infant’s and Toddler’s which emphasizes the importance of relationships between the child, family and teacher and developmentally appropriate practices and learning experiences. The Child and Family Center is inclusive and diverse representing our entire community. Members of the teaching staff are specially trained in Infant-Toddler care, with ongoing continuing education and weekly planning time. Our ratios of 1:3 for infants and 1:4 for toddlers allows for individualizing goals and objectives for each child. Family involvement is vital to the success of our program and we believe we can work together to help your child grow to become a happy, healthy and productive young person. The Fairview Child and Family center is operated by Chapel Hill Training-Outreach Project, Inc. What is an Early Head Start Program?
